KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Friday.

The August 2026, December 2026 and March 2027 contracts slid 4.5 points each to 1,729.5,1,709, and 1,694, respectively, while September 2026 dropped four points to 1,707.5.

Turnover decreased to 7,971 lots from 8,228 on Thursday, while open interest eased to 49,170 contracts from 49,428 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 0.08 per cent, or 1.40 points, to 1,735.75, compared with Thursday’s close of 1,737.15.
