KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Wednesday.

The August 2026 contract surged 23 points to 1,755, September 2026 added 21.5 points to 1,732.5, December 2026 gained 18.5 points to 1,733, and March 2027 rose by 21 points to 1,718.

Turnover increased to 11,060 lots from 6,338 on Tuesday, while open interest was higher at 51,278 contracts from 45,621 previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose by 15.51 points to 1,748.17, compared with Tuesday’s close of 1,732.66.
