KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower on Thursday.

At 9.50 am, the July 2026 and September 2026 contracts shed half a point each to 1,712.0 and 1,692.5, respectively. The August 2026 contract slid a point to 1,713.5, and the December 2026 contract decreased three points to 1,694.0.

Turnover stood at 7,873 lots, while open interest totalled 60,003 contracts.

At 10.10 am, the FBM KLCI erased 0.86 of a point to 1,714.70 from yesterday’s close of 1,715.56.
