KLCI Futures Open Marginally Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts opened lower on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Wednesday.

At 9.55 am, the July 2026 and December 2026 contracts eased by 2.5 points each to 1,714.5 and 1,698.0, respectively; August 2026 declined 4.5 points to 1,713.5, and September 2026 gave up two points to 1,694.5.

Turnover stood at 1,917 lots, while open interest totalled 41,795 contracts.

At 9.11 am, the FBM KLCI rose 3.42 points to 1714.79 from Wednesday’s close of 1,711.37.
