KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 16 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Thursday.

At 9.32 am, the July 2026 contract rose 5.5 points to 1,725.0, while August 2026 added 3.5 points to 1,725.0, September 2026 increased 2.5 points to 1,703.5 and December 2026 gained 3.0 points to 1,704.5.

Turnover stood at 1,538 lots, while open interest totalled 41,180 contracts.

At 9.48 am, the FBM KLCI was 7.03 points firmer at 1,720.79 against Wednesday’s close of 1,713.76.
