Jati Tinggi Secures RM22.6 Mln Data Centre-Related Contracts In Johor

KUALA LUMPUR, July 15 (Bernama) -- Infrastructure utilities engineering solutions provider Jati Tinggi Group Bhd's (JTGB) wholly owned subsidiary has secured two data centre-related contracts in Johor worth a combined value of RM22.6 million.

The company said the first contract comprise the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of two 275-kilovolt (kV) underground cable circuits for a United States-based data centre substation, including associated secondary equipment modification works, valued at RM10.56 million. 

The second contract, worth RM12 million, involves the supply, erection, testing and commissioning of a 275kV bulk supply connection to a Hong Kong-based data centre via a 132kV interim supply.

“Following the latest contracts win, JTGB's outstanding order book has increased to RM936.5 million, marking another record high. The enlarged order book provides earnings visibility for the next three years. 

“With these latest awards, Jati Tinggi has secured RM333.1 million worth of new contracts in FY2026, reflecting continued momentum in replenishing its order book," it said in a statement.

It said the first contract is scheduled for completion within 300 days from the acceptance date, while the second contract is expected to be completed within 270 days.

Its managing director Datuk Seri Lim Yeong Seong said the latest contract awards underscore the growing demand for high-voltage power infrastructure as Malaysia’s data centre ecosystem continues to expand.

"As a full-fledged infrastructure utilities engineering solutions provider, we are able to deliver integrated solutions spanning overhead transmission lines, underground cable systems and substations.
