AIA Malaysia Marks 10th Year Milestone As Million Dollar Round Table Insurer
KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 (Bernama) -- Insurance and takaful provider AIA Malaysia has secured the top position in the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) rankings in Malaysia for the 10th time, recording a total of 827 MDRT qualifiers, including 19 Top of the Table (TOT) and 67 Court of the Table (COT) members.
MDRT is widely regarded as the global benchmark for excellence in the life insurance and financial services industry.
The achievement also reflects the broader strength of AIA Group, once again recognised as the world’s top MDRT multinational company for the 12th consecutive year from 2015 to 2026, it said in a statement today.
“Under the theme #1ReachesFurther, this recognition reflects the collective impact of AIA's agency force in helping individuals, families and communities across Asia build healthier, more secure futures, underscoring the group's commitment to agency excellence and meaningful customer outcomes.
Commenting on the achievement, AIA Malaysia chief executive officer Heng Zee Wang said it reflects the dedication, professionalism and care of its agency force, who go above and beyond every day to support Malaysians through every stage of life.
“This achievement is built on the trust of our customers, and it strengthens our commitment to helping them and their families live Healthier, Longer and Better Lives,” he said.
AIA Malaysia also earned multiple distinctions in the 2026 MDRT global rankings. It was placed 23rd in the 2026 global ranking and earned the fifth spot for the percentage of members with five to nine years of membership.
It took the 10th spot for the percentage of qualifying and life members (QL), 13th for retention rate, and 20th for female membership representation.
“These recognitions reflect AIA Malaysia’s continued focus on building a diverse, high-performing and purpose-driven agency force.
“Through sustained investments in professional development, digital capabilities and a strong customer-first culture, the company is committed to raising industry standards,” it said.
