No Rubber Production Incentive Payment For June 2026 -- MRB

KUALA LUMPUR, June 30 (Bernama) -- No Rubber Production Incentive (IPG) payment will be made to rubber smallholders for June 2026 because the average monthly farmgate prices of cuplump had remained above the activation threshold in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak.

The Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB) said the IPG is activated only when the average monthly farmgate price of cuplump falls below RM3 per kilogramme (kg), a statement from MRB said today.

June 2026’s average farmgate prices of cuplump were RM3.95 per kg in Peninsular Malaysia, RM3.65 per kg in Sabah and RM3.50 per kg in Sarawak.

The IPG for latex is activated simultaneously with the IPG for cuplump and is fixed at RM0.90 per kg for latex with 100 per cent dry rubber content.

Therefore, no IPG payment will be made for cuplump and latex for Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak for June, 2026, the statement said.
