KLCI Futures Close Higher In Line With Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher in line with the better cash market performance. 

The June 2026 and July 2026 contracts gained 2.5 points to 1,66.0 and 1,669.50 respectively, September 2026 increased 2.0 points to 1,650.0, and the December 2026 contract edged up 3.0 points to 1,653.0. 

Turnover advanced to 60,218 lots from 52,319 lots on Thursday, while open interest leapt to 93,884 contracts from 84,593 contracts yesterday.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose by 0.24 per cent, or 3.92 points, to 1,667.74 from Thursday’s close of 1,663.82.
