Desatera To Bolster Commercial Segment, Growing To At Least 15 Outlets In 2026
BANGI, June 23 (Bernama) -- Food and support services company, Desatera Sdn Bhd, aims to increase its outlets to at least 15 this year to bolster its commercial segment as a driver of future growth.
Desatera Sdn Bhd is a core company under the Brahim’s Dewina Group of Companies, engaging in large-scale food services, particularly catering for organisations and institutions.
Chief executive officer Datuk Feizal Nor Nurbi said the company is finalising several new projects expected to begin operations within the next few months.
“From the current nine commercial outlets, we are targeting at least 15 this year. Several projects are being finalised and are expected to be implemented around July or August.
“I see the commercial segment having greater growth opportunities because there is no limit to its potential, unlike certain contracts that have their own ceilings,” he told reporters after launching Dapur Brahim’s RM10 Buffet here today.
Feizal said Desatera will continue to focus on its core expertise in the catering and food services industry while adapting its business model and offerings to changing market conditions.
He said the company’s strengths are also supported by Brahim’s group food ecosystem, which includes catering, ready-to-eat (RTE) food products, food manufacturing, and research and development (R&D).
He added that this approach enables the group to offer comprehensive food solutions to customers across various market segments.
Desatera is best known as one of the main food service providers for the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM), a role it has held for nearly three decades since launching its pilot project in 1996.
