KLCI Futures Open Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, June 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Tuesday, bucking the weaker performance of the underlying cash market.

At 9.30 am, June 2026 and July 2026 rose 2.5 points to 1,706 and 1,708, respectively. September 2026 was 1.5 points better at 1,687, and December 2026 added a point to 1,687.   

Turnover stood at 1,573 lots, while open interest totalled 34,1554 contracts.

At 9.48 am, the benchmark retreated 5.97 points to 1,694.87 from Monday’s close of 1,700.84.
