KLCI Futures Close Higher In Line With Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, June 15 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, tracking the positive performance of the underlying cash market.

The June 2026 contract rose 10 points to 1,699.5, July 2026 added 9.0 points to 1,701.0, September 2026 increased 8.5 points to 1,681.0 and the December 2026 contract gained 8.0 points to 1,681.0.

Turnover improved to 6,696 lots from 6,507 lots last Friday, while open interest climbed to 32,392 contracts from 31,623 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose by 7.76 points, or 0.46 per cent, to 1,691.39 compared with last Friday's close of 1,683.63.
