KLCI Futures Open Mostly Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, June 5 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened mostly higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Friday, tracking the positive underlying cash market performance.

At 10.05 am, the June 2026 contract rose seven points to 1,690.0, July 2026 increased 6.5 points to 1,691.0 and September 2026 improved 5.5 points to 1,671.0, while December 2026 eased half a point to 1,666.0.

Turnover stood at 2,799 lots, while open interest totalled 30,582 contracts.

At 10.06 am, the FBM KLCI index was up 14.60 points to 1,697.86 compared with Thursday's close of 1,683.26.
