KLCI Futures Close Higher In Line With Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, June 4 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today in line with the underlying cash market’s performance.

The June 2026 and July 2026 contracts were 20.5 points higher at 1,683.0 and 1,684.5, respectively, while September 2026 jumped 22 points to 1,665.5, and December 2026 rose 19.5 points to 1,666.5.

Turnover declined to 11,867 lots from 17,811 lots on Wednesday, while open interest shrank to 40,544 contracts from 47,378 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 10.52 points to 1,683.26 from Wednesday's close of 1,672.74.
