KLCI Futures Higher At Opening

KUALA LUMPUR, June 3 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Wednesday in line with the underlying cash market.

At 10.15 am, the June 2026 contract rose 19.5 points to 1,699.5, July 2026 increased 21.5 points to 1,701.5, September 2026 improved 18.0 points to 1,680.0 and December 2026 advanced 11.5 points to 1,676.0.

Turnover stood at 5,496 lots, while open interest totalled 37,793 contracts.

At 10.22 am, the FBM KLCI index was up 7.37 points to 1,690.44 compared with Friday’s close of 1,683.07.

Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries were closed on Monday (June 1) and Tuesday (June 2) in observance of the birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the replacement holiday for Wesak Day, respectively.
