KLCI Futures Higher At Opening

KUALA LUMPUR, May 29 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures opened higher on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives on Friday, in line with the underlying cash market.

At 9.30 am, the May 2026 and June 2026 contracts rose 3.5 points each to 1,694.50 and 1,694.50, respectively. The September 2026 contract increased 2.5 points to 1,675.0, and the December 2026 contract gained two points to 1,676.50.

Turnover stood at 2,202 lots, while open interest totalled 42,226 contracts.

At 9.48 am, the FBM KLCI index was up 7.25 points to 1,692.18 compared with Thursday’s close of 1,684.93.
